Abadeh
Abadeh is a small trading city located in the southern tip of Fars Province in Central Iran. Agricultural production dominates the fertile land, and Abadeh is also a stopover for the Ghashghayi nomads. The pattern style of the Ghashghayi nomads has influenced the weaving style in Abadeh. Typical styled motives of roosters, cats, flowers and leaves adorn Abadeh carpets today, and they are embellished with typical Ghashghayi rosettes that are crafted into the carpet’s corners.
