Cancellation Right for Consumers

A consumer is defined as every natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside his trade, business or profession.

Cancellation Right

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date when you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have or had taken possession of the last goods.

In order to exercise your cancellation right, you are required to inform us, i.e.,

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail, by fax or via email) regarding your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the attached model cancellation form; however, use of the form is not required.

Sending your notice of exercising the cancellation right prior to expiry of the cancellation period is deemed sufficient for compliance with the fourteen day cancellation period.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall be required to refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery charges (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method that differs from the most favourable standard delivery we offer) immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the date that we receive your notice of cancellation of this contract. We shall use the same means of payment for effecting the refund that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed with you, and you will not be charged fees for the refund in any case whatsoever.

We shall pay the costs of return within Germany and the cost for returns from Austria.

For returns from the remaining EU countries (continental Europe), you shall pay € 15.00 of the direct costs for return of the goods.

For returns from the United Kingdom & Ireland, you shall pay € 30.00 of the direct costs return of the goods.

For returns from EU island states (e.g., Cypress, etc.) and EU regions (e.g., the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, etc.), you shall pay the direct costs for return of the goods. The costs are estimated at a maximum amount of approx. € 50.00.

You will need to pay for any possible loss in value of the goods, only if any such loss in value is traceable to handling that is not necessary for checking the nature, characteristic features and functionality of the goods.

Cancellation right does not exist in distance selling

for the supply of goods that are not pre-fabricated or for goods that are clearly tailored to personal needs of the consumer and when the production of goods is governed by an individual choice of or decision by the consumer.
